Dashing, bold and adventurous. Abraham Van Brunt (Brom Bones) is a force to be reckoned with. Orphaned at an early age by British Redcoats, Brom is adopted hero of Sleepy Hollow. Brom apprenticed under the village blacksmith, rearing his independent spirit.

Abraham obtained his nickname from his large stature and boundless enthusiasm. In his youth, he and his gang of “Sleepy Hollow Boys” would revel in mischief, although it was in the spirit of fun rather than malice. In truth, Brom was always the first to stand up for a child bullied or an animal being mistreated, and woe be to the bully.

His closest confidant is Katrina Van Tassel, with whom he has shared a lifelong friendship. She convinced him to finish his schooling, even if it meant bowing to the will of a strict schoolmaster. Brom and Katrina often spend long afternoons riding throughout the Hollow. However, Brom is becoming increasingly concerned that he will not measure up to her father’s expectations for Katrina’s future.
